HOLY FATHER NAMES NEW APOSTOLIC NUNCIO TO UGANDA

On August 27, 2007, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI named Archbishop Paul
Tschang In-Nam as the apostolic nuncio to Uganda. At the time of his
appointment, Archbishop Tschang In-Nam was the apostolic nuncio to Bangladesh.
He takes on the position of Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda, following Archbishop
Christophe Pierre who was named nuncio to Mexico in March.
Paul Tschang In-Nam was born in Seoul, Korea in 1949 and was ordained to the
priesthood in 1976. He was ordained a bishop by Pope John Paul II bishop in
2003, immediately following his appointment to Bangladesh.
