ORDINATION OF NEW PRIESTS 2006 The scheduled ordination of the new priests took off on Saturday July 28th, with the ordination of Reverend Father Venansio Okidi at Kalongo Parish. The Reverend Venansio was ordained by the Right Reverend Bishop Giuseppe Franzelli of Lira Diocese. Bishop Franzelli was asked by His Grace John Baptist John Baptist Odama to perform the ordination ceremony since the Archbishop was away from the Archdiocese on a peace mission. On August 5th His Grace, John Baptist Odama, ordained Rev. Santo Onen to the priesthood at Lacor Parish, and on August 19th, 2006 he ordained Rev. William Ocora and Rev. Christopher Komakech to the priesthood at Kitgum Mission Parish. The four new priests were given their appointment on August 19th, 2006 and were assigned to the following parishes: Rev. Fr. Venansio Okidi Padibe Parish Rev. Fr. Santo Onen Gulu Cathedral Parish Rev. Fr. William Ocora Palabek Parish Rev. Fr. Christopher Komakech Holy Rosary Parish.
